Gamescom 2021 schedule: What happens when?

When is the Gamescom 2021? The Gamescom takes place this year from 25th to 27th August.

How does the GamesCom take place? Purely digital: Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to limit the fair again without a crowd traffic and to a minimum of humans. That means you can not go, track the spectacle but completely live online.

Wednesday, August 25:

On Wednesday, August 25, the big Opening Night Live Show takes place with Geoff Keighley. Here, as in recent years, some great new announcements, trailer premiere and revelations could wait for you. There is no exact time yet.

When the organization designs like last year, the Gamescom Studio will take place again on the first day.

Thursday, the 26th of August:

On Thursday, the 26th of August then the real Gamescom goes off. The exact program has not yet been revealed, but we know at least from some major international publishers that they will be from the game.

In addition, on Thursday, the 26th also the Gamescom Congress takes place. What exactly we expect, we do not know yet, but last year, for example, there was a great debate with top politicians on digital education and more.
