Capcom: Re Village and Monster Hunter Rise with record gain
Capcom has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the current financial year (1 April to 30 June). The company enjoys a tremendous commercial success, which builds mainly on the strong sales of Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter Rise. The company has achieved its own statements in the first quarter of the current financial year the highest net sales and profits so far. At the last balance sheet, Resident Evil Village delivered 4.5 million units worldwide, while Monster Hunter Rise sold over 7 million versions. An increase in net sales was reported by 104.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and an increase in operating profit by 120.4 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year. In the course of this quarter, CAPCOM sold 13.3 million console games, which is an increase of 44.6 percent compared to the first quarter of the previous financial year.
