UK charts: Tales of Arise and more - equal four newcomers in the top 10

Just in time for start to the new week, Gamesindustry.biz and the market researchers of GFK Chart-Track provided the latest software charts from the UK.

As can be seen in this, there were four new publications last week to place themselves in the top 10 of the British retail charts. The place at the top secured the Switch Exclusive Mini Game Collection Warioware: Get It Together! - followed by the new titles Tales of Arise on the one hand and NBA 2K22 on the other side.

The fourth newcomers in the form of Life is Strange: True Colors found himself on the sixth place. It is striking that all newcomers have the majority of their sales recorded on the PlayStation platforms. At Tales of Arise , for example, 58 percent of sales accounted for the PS5, 28 percent to PS4 and 13 percent on the Xbox Series X / s.

A similar picture is marked with NBA 2K22 , which split up the sales over the British retail trade as follows: 46 percent on the PS5, 27 percent on the PS4, 13 percent on the Xbox One, 10 percent on the Xbox Series X / s and 2 percent on the switch. At Life is Strange: True Colors , however, the PS5 alone set up 54 percent of sales, while 28 percent of retail sales accounted for the PS4 version.
